1. Ganpatipule Beach
If you are taking the route of NH66 then you will get to explore various places starting from historical sites, beaches, and temples. The first beach on this list is Ganpatipule beach. This beach is not that popular with the crowd but has a lot to explore here. Along the Konkan coast, this seems like a heaven for adventure aficionados and beach lovers. The most stunning part about Ganpatipule is that the water is very clean and it’s surrounded by white sand. You can experience paragliding, motorboat riding, camel rides, pedal boat riding, and so much here on this beach. In addition to the scenic views, travellers can even walk around the beach and explore nearby places like Velneshwar beach temple and Swamyambhoo Ganpati Temple.

2. Guhagar Beach
Yet another stunning beach falling on NH66 during the Mumbai-Goa road trip is Guhagar Beach. This route is not appropriate if you have the tendency for motion sickness but the views and surroundings are mind-blowing. This 6-7 km long white sand beach is one of the longest beaches in the Konkan region. Apart from the pristine Guhagar beach, you can even go to Plashet beach, 12.5 km away from Guhagar. It’s definitely a paradise for mango lovers as the place is popular for Alphonso mangoes.
3. Murud Beach
Murud Beach looks magnificent with turquoise water and a stretch of black sand. This beach is quite a popular one in the Ratnagiri district and also the western region. It is a popular attraction among Maharasthra and also Alibaug. The serene vibes, beautiful coastline, sparkling waters, picturesque sunsets, and adventurous sports make your trip to Murud beach worth it.
4. Karde Beach
Karde Beach is actually the extended part of Murud Beach, stretching to 4 km. Nestled in Dapoli, this place has so much to travel to. In between everything, Karde Beach stands out as one of the most amazing beaches in Konkan. Dapoli is quite a popular tourist attraction that falls on the Mumbai-Goa road trip route, this beach is not explored that much. Walking on the beach feels like gliding on silk and the picturesque views are a bonus. You can even witness migrant birds and enjoy dolphin rides.
