Mumbai- Goa Highway To Be Ready Within One Year

According to India Today, Nitin Gadkari announced that the Mumbai-Goa highway will be completed within the next year. At the inauguration of three national highway projects, the Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Gadkari stated that the work for the highway was delayed as permission needed to be obtained from the railway and forest departments. He revealed that Mumbai-Goa is the heartbeat of the region. So, the government assured to complete the highway work within one year.

Light & Sound Shows To Come Up At Forts

The highway will not only exist between Mumbai and Goa but shall also extend to Mangalore. Nitin Gadkari further threw light on tourism projects in the Konkan region. He revealed that the government shall fulfil all proposals for ropeways in the states for forts. He also suggested organising a light and sound show at forts in the region to welcome more tourists.
