Yes, as shocking as it sounds, this news was confirmed on the official Instagram account of The Pointe, which said that the dancing water show will close until further notice. The final musical fountain show will happen till Sunday, May 14, which is basically this weekend. This means the Palm Fountain will be closing on May 15, Monday. Although the reopening date has still not been announced, it’s worth noting that this major attraction in Dubai is spread over a whopping 14,000 square feet. It should be noted that the final shows will be happening from Friday, May 12 to Sunday, May 14.

The fountain sits on the waters of the Arabian Gulf and these fountains are multicoloured, unlike the ones at the Dubai Fountain. Moreover, these jets of water that shoot as high as 105 metres are lit up by over 3000 LED lights as they dance to the beats of music. The fountain show takes place five times a day and these tracks change throughout the year. Moreover, the parking is free at the Pointe, so you can just drive off to the location with your family. Doesn’t it sound like a great way to spend some time with your loved ones?

So, if you have been procrastinating your visit, now is not the time to do so! Go ahead, and plan your visit and check it out before the show closes.
