What’s new in the world of the latest food trends and experiments today? No, it is not a bizarre innovation with Maggi, pizza, or dosa. However, it is a forgettable attempt to blend our favourite fruit watermelon into the world of deep-fried snacks. A recent viral video shows a cook preparing Chicken Fried Watermelon and we are confused about how to react to it.

One Of The Recent Food Experiments Is Chicken Fried Watermelon & It Looks Too Doubtful

FearBuck (@FearedBuck) shared a video of a cook preparing this weird dish and Netizens have many questions and reactions concerning it.

After idli, dosa, noodles, sweets, milk, and tea, the series of weird fusion dishes has spread to fruits. A cook shared a video showing a strange recipe for chicken fried watermelon and it just makes us nauseated. The ingredients used in this preparation are so random that we can never imagine cooking a dish using all these together.

A man cuts watermelon into rectangular pieces and inserts a skewer in each. Next, he dips fruits in eggwash and coats them with chicken flour. Lastly, he deep-fries watermelon pieces in pre-heated oil and taste tests it. Well, the cook clearly disapproves of the recipe and rates it 3 out of 10.

Netizens Find This Experiment Simply Bizarre

Does anyone like the idea of preparing chicken fried watermelon? No. Does anyone wish to try this dish? Hardly! X users do not find the recipe impressive at all. Using watermelon, eggs, and chicken flour to fry the fruit slices is yet another unnecessary recipe shared on social media platforms. We wonder if anyone actually tries recreating such preparations at home.

The responses under the viral X post clearly depict the foodies’ disapproval of chicken fried watermelon. Neither are they bothered to try it nor do they find it interesting. Reacting to the recipe video, an X user responded, “Who in the hell would eat that monstrosity?” A Netizen commented, “This gotta stop.” Another comment read, “Yall be doing too much.” Here are more reactions under the video.
