Man Misses Connecting Flight In Dubai; Emirates Ready With Hotel Bookings & Boarding Passes, Leaves Him Surprised

It’s not always that flights get delayed by several hours or cancelled. However, sometimes it so happens that due to the delay of one flight, the connecting flight that takes people to the final destination can be missed. However, in a refreshing case, A Dehradun-based entrepreneur shared a pleasant flying experience with Emirates. This is despite the fact that the passengers missed their connecting flight in Dubai. Here’s what happened!

Man Misses Connecting Flight In Dubai Due To Delay

Several people were travelling on an international flight that was flying via Dubai. The flight took off from Delhi and landed in Dubai from where these passengers had to board their connecting flights. Arvind Datta, who is the founder and CEO of Marigold Wealth was also amongst the people who were supposed to take the connecting flight on Monday. However, according to a report by the Hindustan Times, it was mentioned that due to a technical fault, the flight was delayed by two hours in Delhi. As a result, along with 80 other people, they end up missing their connecting flight in Dubai.

As the passengers arrived in Dubai, they were pleasantly surprised. The reason for this is the fact that Emirates staff were ready with fresh boarding passes and hotel bookings for the passengers, who had missed their connecting flights. Not to mention, they provided these passengers visas, in case they wished to go out of the hotel. Adding further, he mentioned that the airline had stated that it would pick them up from the hotel the next morning, after which, they would be taken back to the airport for their onward flight. Gushing about the professionalism and the service of emirates, the tweet received several comments. People came forward to share their experiences in the comments. Here’s what they had to say:

Same had happened with me while flying back from Milan to Delhi via Muscat.
That was via Oman airlines. They also arranged a hotel stay at Muscat along with complimentary and visa for Muscat. Idk if every airline does it?

Same happened with me in 2010 .missed connecting flight from Dxb to Vienna due to fog in Delhi . They gave overnight hotel , transit, visa , food and one international call free 🙂
