MasterChef Australia’s Sarah Todd is a restaurateur, food vlogger and passionate Indian food lover. From sipping kahwa in Kashmir to devouring rasawala khaman in Gujarat, Sarah had a gala time exploring regional Indian delicacies. This time, her food escapades have brought her to Namma Bengaluru. At India’s Silicon Valley, Sarah visited The Rameshwaram Cafe, the city’s trending abode for South Indian fare. She tried “India’s most famous dosa”. What’s her verdict? Read on!

Sarah Todd Visits The Rameshwaram Cafe In Bengaluru

Before digging deep into the plethora of ghee-laden delicacies at The Rameshwaram Cafe, Sarah Todd first decided to check out the kitchen. Donning a chef’s cap, she entered the kitchen to see the cooks preparing steaming hot mini idlis. Depending on the size of the idlis, each of them was set to different temperatures.

What’s her favourite section of the Rameshwaram Cafe’s kitchen? It’s the dosa section of course! Many different types of dosa were prepared right in front of her. Sarah in the caption of her reel, calls dosa one of her longest-standing favourite dishes. And the Masala Dosa at The Rameshwaram Cafe didn’t disappoint the chef. She found it to be crispy with an “almost shattering texture” which she described to be “perfection”.

Netizens Share Their Dosa Reccos In Bengaluru

Sarah called the dosa at The Rameshwaram Cafe the “crispiest dosa” she has ever tasted. Apart from the dosa, she also tucked into the famous Ghee Podi Masala Idlis which she found to be “soft and pillowy.” The chef admitted to loving a good dollop of ghee on everything. She was taken aback by the masala on the idlis which had an umami flavour. Well, Sarah Todd definitely gave a thumbs up to The Rameshwaram Cafe.
