Had lunch from the global menu at McDonald’s in Chicago today, pretty damn fun… here’s what I tried

Opened in 2018, this particular McDonald’s in Chicago is serving a rotating menu of items from different countries. This means that if you’re here at the right time, you can actually get to enjoy McAloo Tikki, which is exclusively available in Indian McDonald’s! And not just McAloo Tikki, but a host of delicious McDelicacies from around the world!
It is located in the West Loop Neighbourhood of Chicago and is actually located on the lower level of the company’s global headquarters. Right next to it is Hamburger University which is a training facility for mid-management and high-performing managers and owner-opoerators. According to an article published by Business Insider, the program is quite difficult to get into.
When you enter the Global Menu McDonald’s, you immediately realise that this isn’t your neighbourhood outlet that is always noisy and crowded, where the ice cream machine is always broken. Everything about the restaurant, from its chic interiors to the neatly dressed and polite staff, will prove to you that this outlet is a class apart from all the rest!

It stretches across 6,000 square feet and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology. You may greet the polite staff and place your order there or you can head to the self-service machines and place your order through them. Since it is a unique establishment, we recommend you place the order the old-fashioned way unless the counter is too crowded.
After you place the order with the polite staff at the counter, you’ll be handed a number for your table and a staff member will bring you your order! No need to wait at the counter or to pick it up yourself! You can try items from the menus of Saudi Arabia, Japan, Malaysia, Australia, and more! Just make sure you finish everything you order because wasting food is never cool.
The Ebi Filet burger from Japan is especially good and is one of the most popular menu items in this unique establishment.
