During this episode, we learned that Medha Shankr has been a vegetarian for the past seven years. Scroll on to learn the reason behind this decision.
This Is Why Medha Shankr Is A Vegetarian For The Last 7 Years
These days, many people are shifting from being hardcore non-vegetarian lovers towards choosing a lifestyle, which completely eradicates the use of meat or seafood. They are either going fully vegan or vegetarian! Actor Medha Shankr has followed this path and has chosen to be a vegetarian for the last seven years!
As a true Delhiite, Medha is head over heels for Delhi’s food over Mumbai, any day. She recalled how drool-worthy the non-vegetarian dishes were in the national capital. The actor shared, “I was a hardcore non-vegetarian when I lived in Delhi. All my meals were non-vegetarian back in the day. Now it’s been seven years since I left it.”
During the conversation, she highlighted how relocating to Mumbai to pursue her dream career and turning a vegetarian happened simultaneously! She always wanted to eliminate meat, seafood and eggs from her diet. However, as a hardcore non-vegetarian, it took a while for her to transition to vegetarianism.
Medha Shankr slowly cut off chicken and mutton from her diet. She became a pescatarian but later moved on from seafood as well. Now, she is a happy girl who loves to eat her dal, chawal and sabzi.

Even today, if you’re eating handi mutton or chicken, I will feel like you have a good life!” Both of them had a good laugh about it. However, our guest clarified that she won’t go back to being a non-vegetarian anytime soon. Well, that is also a good life, Medha!
