This year’s Dubai Shopping Festival is much more than just shopping and mega sales. This year, DSF brought with it super uber cool outdoor markets which let residents skip malls and head outdoors to shop, eat and have enjoy some live entertainment. From the Last Exit, to Al Seef, and Burj Park, here are outdoor markets you must not miss this DSF. And now City Walk is hosting a grand food festival called Miami Vibes. The Instagrammable food market is open until 1 February, so foodies, block your calendar!

What’s It?

This year, City Walk is bringing to the city, a vibrant food festival, which will add colour to your gram and make your Miami dreams come alive! Miami Vibes is anything like a normal food fest and the interiors say it all.

From the pretty fairy lights twinkling under the night sky to palm trees, and pretty props- think huge pink pineapple and the yellow food truck, everything in the space is just perfect for the gram.

The food trucks sell delectable treats from famous restaurants and cafes including Lobster Roll, Pasta House, Depresso, Acai Hub, Num Nom, Holy Fries, Rainbow Toast, and more. Call your BFFs right away!

Entry is free for all and the food fest is open daily until 1 February-  Saturday to Wednesday 3pm to 12am, Thursday & Friday 3pm to 1am.

What Else?

Meanwhile, a super fun Asian street food festival is coming to Habtoor Palace hotel in Al Habtoor City. The family-friendly event will run for three days from 23-25 January from 5:00 pm- 10:00 pm. The free-to-enter fest will be a treat to foodies, providing a range of options for you to binge on.

Follow your nose and walk to the various street food stalls selling all things Chinese. From satay BBQ skewers, to crispy spring rolls and tender dumplings, there’s a little something for every Chinese cuisine lover.

And, to make it a complete weekend outing, there’s also a Lychee Lounge, where you can chill with some Asian beer. But that’s not all! When you’re done binging sit back and enjoy traditional Chinese entertainment including Chinese Lion dance, music and ballet performances and cosplay. There’s also a petite arts corner for the young and the old, in case you want to hone your artistic skills.

Meanwhile, Al Habtoor City will also transform into a mini Chinese wonderland with a City Brunch (AED 425) that will be open to all at The Market on Friday, January 24. Hover around 15 live cooking stations, shop, enroll in cooking classes and enjoy the day with your family. In the evening, be treated to a lip-smacking Chinese buffet at The Market (AED 195), between 7pm -10.30pm.

Now, that’s quite an eventful Chinese New Year, right?
