Expo City Dubai’s Terra Unveils 1-Year Nature Membership With Workshops, Expert Sessions & More

If you’ve ever walked through Terra and wished you could stay longer, this might be what you need. Terra at Expo City Dubai has started a new membership program that lets you reconnect with nature for a whole year after just one visit.

Terra Dubai Membership Gives You Nature Experiences & Expert Help All Year Long

This isn’t about reading signs or looking at displays. It’s about taking part. Members take part in guided sessions led by scientists, ecologists, and other experts who bring nature up close, sometimes in a very real way.

Here’s the shift. Terra wants people to move from passive learning to real experience.

Ecosystems aren’t just something members hear about. They watch them, try out ideas, and ask questions in real time. One session could entail examining fungi through a microscope. Another could put you in a beekeeper suit and have you stand next to a live hive. The press release says that the goal is simple: to help people get away from the noise of everyday life and reconnect with nature in a way that feels personal and lasting.

“Time for Nature” Is The Main Event

‘Time for Nature’, a monthly series just for members, is the main part of the programme. It starts with ‘Secrets of Terra’ on April 25, a 90-minute guided tour that takes you behind the scenes of the pavilion. Think about things that are hidden, details that are easy to miss, and stories that most people never hear.

From there, the calendar opens up. Each month brings a new theme, from climate science to urban biodiversity, all built around hands-on learning.

The lineup for 2026–2027 is different and useful.

In ‘Fungi Uncovered’ members can study desert ecosystems and work with live cultures. ‘Eyes in the Sky’ changes the focus to the sky and uses satellite images to watch how the land changes. Then there’s ‘Step Into the Beekeeper Suit’, which puts you in a garden full of pollinators.

And if plants are more your thing, ‘Plants with Stories’ connects you to the cultural roots of native UAE species. It’s science, but told in a way that sticks.

Membership starts at AED240, and it comes with more than just sessions.

Members get unlimited access to Terra’s exhibitions, entry to public programs and festivals, and discounts on food, drinks, and retail. There’s also a steady stream of updates through newsletters and reports.
