1. flydubai Launches Daily Direct Flights Between DXB & Pokhara

Dubai has launched daily non-stop flights between Dubai International Airport and Pokhara International Airport. With the start of these daily direct flights, it has established the first direct link between Dubai and Western Nepal. The flight departed from Terminal 3 of DXB on September 23rd. It was greeted with a ceremonial water cannon salute when it arrived at Pokhara.
2. Etihad Rail Tests Falcon Travel Procedures
Ahead of its launch, falcon travel procedures were tested by Etihad Rail at the Liwa Station. Basically, they will host falconers and their falcons for a trial journey, which was from Abu Dhabi to Fujairah. Drawing on their experiences, they plan to assess the handling of falcons at the station and onboard passenger trains.
3. RAKTA Doubles Accessible Taxi Fleet
Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority has increased its dedicated taxi fleet for People of Determination and senior citizens. Yes, this has increased from two to four vehicles, expanding access for specialised transport services across the emirate. The taxis are equipped to accommodate wheelchairs, with wheelchair restraints and smart cameras. This makes the journey safer and more accessible for passengers.
4. UAE’s Ministry Of Interior’s App To Be Temporarily Unavailable
As announced by the Ministry of Interior on its social media account, its app will be offline on Sunday, September 27th from 2 AM to 5 AM. This suspension is necessary as it aims to carry out updates on the application. The services on the app are expected to resume once the maintenance work is complete.

5. Global Village VIP Packs For Season 31 Go On Sale
The Global Village Season 31 VIP and Mega VIP packs go on sale on September 26th, which is today. They give visitors access to exclusive benefits throughout the upcoming season. The limited edition packs are available on a first-come, first-served basis until stocks last. Pre-orders opened between September 21st and 25th. Buyers must have their valid Emirates ID and vehicle details ready while purchasing the packs.
