Fujairah has a new reason to celebrate, as the emirate’s Musical Street has been officially recognised by Guinness World Records as the longest musical street in the world, putting a creative local project on the global map.
Fujairah Sets Guinness World Record For The Longest Musical Street In The World
The milestone was marked during a meeting between His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, and the team from the Fujairah Fine Arts Academy who helped bring the project to life.
To many, a road is just a means to get from one point to another. But Music Street was meant to be more than that. It’s a public space where art and daily life intersect, and it makes a daily commute a little different.

The Team Behind The Record
Sheikh Mohammed, who was presented with the official Guinness World Records certificate during the meeting, praised the work of the academy team.
He mentioned the positive impacts music and arts can have on the daily lives of people. Just by making public spaces more fun, more inviting, and maybe a little bit more memorable.
That’s what cities everywhere have been trying to do. Now Fujairah has succeeded in doing it with a project that has gained international recognition.
The Crown Prince also spoke about the importance of supporting creative ideas that bring communities together and improve the quality of life.
