1. Firefighting Robots Deployed By Sharjah
It was recently revealed that the Sharjah Civil Defence Authority has deployed advanced firefighting robots. This is to combat high-risk industrial fires. In fact, it strengthens emergency response operations, and the aim is to improve firefighter safety in hazardous environments.
2. Preparations Finalised For Pilgrim Movement In Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia recently revealed it has finalised preparations. This is to manage the pilgrim movement and transport. It should be noted that it includes access to the Jamarat site and the holy sites. The preparations aim to oversee transportation between the holy sites during this year’s Hajj.
3. UAE Schools Resume In-Person Classes
The Ministry of Education recently announced that it has resumed in-person learning. This is for all students, teachers and administrative staff. This has come into effect from May 11th. And as mentioned by them, this decision follows after continuous monitoring of development.
4. UAE To Experience Hotter Days
As per the predictions of the NCM, the UAE is set for generally clear weather until Friday. This has been predicted as the temperatures are gradually rising in the UAE. In fact, the dusty conditions are also expected at times. As predicted by the NCM, there could be clear to partly cloudy.

5. Greater Muscat Structure Plan Launched By Oman
As revealed by MEP Middle East, Oman has launched the Greater Muscat Structure Plan. This aims to transform the capital region. This would transform it into one of the Middle East’s most sustainable, connected, and competitive metropolitan areas, and was inaugurated on May 7th.
