Yes, finally, Wi-Fi is available on all of the 259 intercity buses as revealed by Dubai Roads and Transport Authority on July 23. Now, as you travel between the emirates, you get to stay connected with your family back at home.
Dubai RTA Extends Wi-Fi To All Intercity Buses
As recently revealed by the Dubai RTA, the rollout of free Wi-Fi is finally complete on the intercity buses. This initiative has been able to take place in partnership with e&, which is being designed to enhance the daily commuting experience. This is bound to make travel between Dubai and other emirates like Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Ajman, and Fujairah for passengers a lot more fun. It should be noted that with the passengers being able to enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi access, they will be able to use smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
These Services Will Allow People To Stay Connected

Through the service, people will be able to stay connected to their work, home, and any other personal commitments, or maybe even just browse the internet while they are still on the move. It should be noted that several public places already offer free Wi-Fi service. In fact, it’s also available at the Dubai Metro stations, Al Maktoum International Airport and Dubai International Airport.

It Was Recently Installed At The Bus & Marine Stations
This development comes at a time when the Dubai RTA recently announced that it has completed the rollout of free Wi-Fi. The rollout of free Wi-Fi service is also complete at 43 bus and marine transport stations. This service allows people to stay connected to their work and personal commitments, and the quality connectivity ensures that people can do so seamlessly. So to ensure that there is quality connectivity, continuous evaluation will also be taking place for expansion and enhancement.
