You can also use your Emirates ID to pay for fuel at the petrol station. All you need to do for this is download ADNOC Wallet. Once you have done this, your Emirates ID gets linked to it, and then you can add money to your account. So, when you fill up your tank at the ADNOC petrol stations, you can simply insert your Emirates ID into the card payment slot. After this, all you need to do is follow the on-screen instructions and pay.
Use It As Your Health Insurance Card
You can use your Emirates ID as a health insurance card when you next visit a clinic. For this, you must show your Emirates ID and then the medical service providers will use the EID to process the medical insurance.
Use It At DXB Airport’s E-Gate
You can use the Emirates ID at the smart gate, which is an automated self-service border control system. They use special recognition technology for identifying travellers. These are found at Terminal 3 of Dubai International Airport. You can use your Emirates ID to head through the smart gate, but you will have to register the ID with the ICP, swipe your Emirates ID card and then look into the green light at the gate.
