When the typical Dubai brunch scene is becoming a bit stale these days, the pop-up this weekend at Wasl Square could be the breath of fresh air people are looking for. Imagine early-morning jogs, pastry, live music, and exclusive streetwear all in one three-day community festival. Between April 24-26, sportswear giant New Balance is collaborating with Rascals Deli to create a weekend pop-up blending fitness, food and music in a relaxed environment.
Weekend Pop-Up Brings Runs, Music And Food To Wasl Square Dubai
The weekend starts early in the morning on Friday with a 5K community run around Al Safa. The participants will meet at Rascals Deli at 6:15 AM, and then they will go out to run. No one to race or keep up with. Walk, jog or run, whichever you like.
As soon as runners come back, there will be free refreshments and pastries. Well, that may even persuade some people to get up early in the morning.
Food, Merch And Live Music All Weekend
The pop-up runs until Sunday with an entire schedule of events that are associated with the release of the new Ellipse running shoe line by New Balance.
Visitors will be able to shop exclusive merchandise, grab some co-brand giveaways with their purchases, and sample a special menu offered specifically as part of the collaboration.
On Friday evening, things turn into a party as DJ Shef Codes has taken over with live sets of music since 6 PM.

Even after the pop-up, the Dubai calendar of events remains full on weekends.
Rock-inspired rock and blues can be heard in the Firdaus Orchestra, and wellness enthusiasts can visit the Fitness Hangout staycation at the Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah to relax a bit more slowly and in a healthy way.
According to the Gulf News, the community-driven lifestyle events that integrate wellness with entertainment and social experiences have been on the increase in Dubai, particularly in the younger generation of residents seeking more meaningful weekend activities.
