Bakerist is opening its first branch in Abu Dhabi, offering popular oversized pastries alongside freshly baked sourdough, cakes, sandwiches, pizza, pasta, salads, and hearty mains, as well as speciality coffee and matcha drinks. The latest addition, croissandwiches, may feature fillings like smoked chicken, roast meat, and mortadella. With a diverse menu beyond its signature croissants, this new spot is worth checking out.

2. Oro Verde

Yas Bay is enhancing its waterfront dining scene with Oro Verde, a new Nikkei restaurant and bar blending Japanese and Peruvian influences. This concept from the team behind Asia Asia and Lock, Stock & Barrel will offer bold flavours, creative cocktails, and a stylish atmosphere. Jamie Oliver’s Italian dining concept has opened its first Abu Dhabi branch at Reem Mall. The cosy, family-friendly restaurant boasts an open kitchen and a turquoise-tiled bar. 4. Graze Burger Al Danah

5. Brooki

Australian bakery brand Brooki Bakehouse has made its mark in Abu Dhabi with its much-loved range of oversized cookies. The Al Qana outlet is particularly notable as the brand’s first-ever drive-thru, where you can pick up freshly baked, soft-centred cookies without leaving your car. Known for its thick, chunky bakes that gained a huge following online, Brooki also offers delivery across the city.
