Muchachas Dubai is about to turn 9, and instead of quietly lighting a candle, they’re throwing the kind of fiesta that makes you cancel other plans. It’s happening on Friday, August 29, at Holiday Inn Express, Al Safa. Not just dinner. Not just music. A proper Mexican-style blowout.

Imagine walking into a party house and the first thing that hits you is music rather than food. Muchachas’ atmosphere will fill the room with a Latin duo playing guitar riffs and beats that make staying seated feel like punishment. Add chatter, clinking glasses, bright décor, and suddenly you’ve forgotten you’re in Dubai at all.

The Mexican Spread

At the centre of it all is Chef Paris Rodriguez. Born in Mexico City, played American football back in the day, swapped tackles for tacos (his words, not mine). He’s travelled across more than 15 Mexican states, picking up flavours and tricks, and somehow squeezes all that into Dubai plates. You’ll taste the discipline from his athlete days, but also the creativity of someone who clearly loves what he does.
