Qatar Airways recently announced that it will be expanding its network. Yes, and it plans to do so with the start of flight operations to Caracas in Venezuela and Bogotá in Colombia. The services are due to begin in July 2026. Here’s all you need to know about this flight-related development as announced by the airline.

Qatar Airways To Introduce Flights To Caracas & Bogota

Qatar Airways recently announced that it will be starting flight operations to Caracas in Venezuela and Bogota in Colombia from July 22nd. This service is a significant milestone for the airline as it has become the first Gulf carrier to serve Venezuela. Not to mention, it has also become the first airline to operate flights from the Middle East to Caracas and Bogota. With the expansion, it underscores the airline’s commitment.

To Be Serviced By Two Weekly Flights

Talking about the new weekly flights, it will be operated by two services to both destinations. The flight will depart on every Wednesday and Sunday. And the flight details are as follows

  • Doha to Bogotá – Flight QR783: Departure at 7:30 AM and Arrival at 4:05 PM
  • Bogotá to Caracas – Flight QR783: Departure at 5:35 PM and Arrival at 8:40 PM
  • Caracas to Doha – Flight QR783 Departure at 10:40 PM to Arrival 7:55 PM +1

Airline’s 15th & 16th Destination

The flight schedule of Qatar Airways has been designed in such a way that it offers smooth onward connections through the Hamad International Airport. As it happens, flyers are connected to key markets. These include Australia, China, Japan, Lebanon, the United Arab Emirates, and South Korea.

It’s worth mentioning that Caracas and Bogota mark the 15th and 16th destinations in the Americas that will be served by Qatar Airways. With this being said, it’s worth mentioning that the airline is furthering its global connectivity by rebuilding its network to more than 160 global destinations.
