People who fly with Gulf Air will soon have access to a much larger network. Gulf Air has confirmed plans to bring back its full route map by June 2026, with more than 50 routes from Bahrain International Airport. The rollout won’t happen all at once. Instead, the airline is bringing back routes in stages, keeping operations steady as it does so.

Some temporary flights are still going through King Fahd International Airport for now. That setup will end on April 30, making it possible for everyone to move back to Bahrain.

The airline has already been flying some routes to cities like Riyadh, London Heathrow, Dubai, and Istanbul. But the real boost comes in the middle of the month, when more places start to come back. Services to Indian cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, and Thiruvananthapuram are available to passengers. This phase also includes important global hubs like Paris, Frankfurt, and Bangkok.

Gulf Air is steadily adding more flights in April, and flights to Abu Dhabi are also expected to start up again during this time, according to Gulf News.

May Will Bring More Global Connections

The network will grow even more starting on May 1. Routes to Doha, Bangalore, Goa, and Colombo are back up and running. Along with Casablanca and Cairo, European cities like Munich, Milan, and Athens also come back. On May 15, two weeks later, another group joins the schedule.

Manchester, Rome, Guangzhou, and Singapore will all be back in business, giving both business and leisure travellers more options. This staggered rollout helps keep things from going wrong all at once and gives passengers more predictable travel options.

June Marks Full Restoration And Summer Add-Ons

Gulf Air plans to bring back several long-haul routes that were put on hold, such as London Gatwick, New York, Shanghai, and Baku, starting June 1. This phase also includes places like Al Qassim and Tbilisi that are in the region. The airline is also adding summer routes to Geneva, Malaga, Nice, and El Alamein. These places are popular during the busiest holiday times, especially for people going to Europe.

At this point, the airline thinks its network will be back to normal.

What’s Next For Passengers Now?

Gulf Air has told passengers to buy tickets through its official website, mobile app, or travel agents that are allowed to do so. As routes start to open up again, it’s important to check travel dates and availability. Plans might change a little as operations grow.
