Thanks to the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) newly released report. The report by GACA includes the latest complaint index for September 2025, which explains the ranking of airlines and airports based on passenger feedback. Flyadeal Tops the Airline Rankings
According to Arabian Business, GACA’s report confirms flyadeal securing the top position, with the least number of complaints, i.e. 38 complaints per 100,000 passengers. Also, the complaint resolution turnaround was a 98% timely resolution rate. flynas leads the ladder by 43 complaints per 100,000 passengers and a perfect 100% on-time resolution, which is pretty perfect. Saudia Airlines registered 54 complaints per 100,000 passengers and resolved 90% complaints on time.
From flight disruptions, baggage services, to ticketing problems, these are the major complaints reported by GACA’s report. This is all aligned with the end goal of encouraging accountability in the aviation sector in the Kingdom.
Top Airports for Passenger Satisfaction
Now let’s talk about airports in Saudi Arabia. King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh secured the top place with only 15 complaints logged per 100,000 passengers. The resolution rate?A flawless 100% resolution rate. Abha International Airport recorded only four complaints per 100,000 passengers, while Sharurah Airport led the domestic category with a single complaint per 100,000 passengers, all resolved on with 100% timely rate.

Driving Transparency and Better Service
GACA stresses that the monthly index helps travellers make informed choices while pushing airlines and airports to improve service. To support this, the authority provides airport operators with guidelines for handling passenger complaints and runs training workshops for airline and ground staff on customer rights.
