IndiGo Extends Its Free Cancellation Waiver Policy
IndiGo has announced an extension of its free cancellation waiver policy for passengers travelling from the Middle East and Istanbul. The extended waiver is valid until 31 March, 2026. The airline announced the decision after the situation in the Middle East continued to remain intense, prompting the airline to provide more flexibility to customers who wish to modify or cancel their travel plans. According to the policy, passengers booked on IndiGo flights to or from destinations across the Middle East and Istanbul can now cancel their tickets without any additional cancellation charges during the waiver period.

Additionally, IndiGo has also advised customers to regularly check the status of their flights through their official site or social media platforms to stay updated about any operational updates or changes. Earlier, IndiGo took to their official X handle to announce the extension of the temporary suspension of selected international flights using Middle East airspace till March 2nd. They also announced full refunds and waivers for travel to and from the Middle East, along with other impacted international sectors, until 7th March 2026, for bookings made on or before 28th February 2026.
