His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, who is the Supreme Council Member and the Ruler of Sharjah, made a major announcement. Yes, he announced that a new dedicated tower and recreational park, exclusively for women, will be developed in Kaba. It aims to offer greater privacy, leisure facilities, and comfort. Here’s all you need to know about this development as directed by the Ruler of Sharjah.

Ruler Of Sharjah Announces New Tower & Park Exclusively For Women

As revealed in a report by Gulf News, this project aims to offer women an alternative to the Clock Tower landmark in the city. The Clock Tower attracts massive crowds, including visitors of both genders. This new development, however, will be a dedicated space for women to enjoy recreational activities. The new development would offer women an exclusive place to enjoy the surrounding views in a more private setting. So it’s not wrong to say that it addresses the need for facilities that are tailored to their requirements.

Where Is This Tower Being Developed?

Talking about the new tower, it is being developed near the University of Kalba. It has been strategically positioned in such a way that it offers expansive and elevated views of the surrounding area. There will also be an exclusive park, which will be built adjacent to the tower. This park would offer a dedicated space for recreation and leisure. The project would also include a fully air-conditioned hall, which would be equipped with games and recreational activities.

A Gift To The Women Of Kalba

With Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi describing this development as a gift to the women of Kalba, the project offers them a dedicated space, which is being designed to suit their needs. This initiative also reflects the emirate’s effort to continuously develop the community. Once the development is complete, the tower and the park are expected to give women in Kalba a dedicated destination for leisure and recreation. Not to mention, it would also complement the existing public landmarks and facilities in the city.
