In a video posted by Instagram food blogger Freakin Foodies, and later shared on Twitter by Mukesh V Makhija, you’d witness ‘Mithai Momos’ in the making. The video shows a street food vendor preparing a massive momo with a stuffing of Indian sweets. The process goes like this. The chef first rolls out a flat sheet of momo dough. Then, he goes on to add a bunch of Indian sweets like Gulab Jamun, a bowl of Gajar ka Halwa, two Motichoor Laddoos and two pieces of Kalakand.

Netizens Furious With Creation; Call It Food Murder

Next, he wraps up the Mithai Momo and steams it in the momo steamer. The large Mithai Momo is served hot with a helping of chocolate sauce on the side. Cut open the momo and you’d notice a crazy blend of your favourite mithais. The video went viral, garnering over 52.2k views and hundreds of comments. Netizens were furious with the creation that ruined both momo and desi mithai. Some called it ‘Food Murder’ and others said it could give you diabetes.
