Well, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee recently fascinated people when she prepared momos with locals at a momo stall in Darjeeling. Well, momo lovers, you might want to visit this momo stall in Darjeeling, which has been made famous by none other than the West Bengal CM herself.

Mamata Banerjee Prepares Momos In Darjeeling

In a viral video shared by a Twitter user, Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is seen visiting a momo stall in Darjeeling. Dressed in a blue and white sari, she first watches the locals prepare momos. Then she decided to take matters into her own hands. Ms Banerjee can be seen rolling the dough, wrapping the momo filling with locals and steaming it. One Twitterati captioned the video ‘Momo with Mamata’. As she prepared momos, several people clicked photos and took videos of the Trinamool Congress chief cooking.

Earlier PM Modi Had Chai At Tea Stall

At the momo stall, she also interacted with members of Anju- a self-help group.  This is not the first time politicians have interacted with street food vendors. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was seen sipping garam chai ( hot tea) from a tea stall. As he sipped his freshly prepared chai, he waved to the crowds gathered outside the stall, to catch a glimpse of him. Meanwhile, if you wish to start your own chai outlet, you can do so at ₹3.5 lakhs.
