Morocco Resumes Tourist Visa Operations For Indian Travellers

The North African country of Morocco, invites you with its exotic souks selling metal lanterns, jewellery; ancient forts, and expansive deserts. Well, no more waiting to visit Morocco, as the country has resumed tourist visa operations for Indians. Yes, you read this right. The Embassy of the Royal Kingdom of Morocco has now resumed both visitor and tourist visa operations for Indian nationals. Read on to know more.

Travel Guidelines To Visit Morocco From India

In order to enter Morocco, you need to produce your vaccination certificate, which shows that you are fully vaccinated at least 14 days before arrival in the country and fill up a health form. But you also need to undergo an RT-PCR test within 48 hours before travel. On arrival, you will be subjected to another test at the hotel or residence in Morroco. On arrival in Morocco, you must take a random Rapid Antigen Test that’s free of cost apart from temperature checks. Unvaccinated tourists must quarantine at a government-approved hotel for 10 days.

Morocco Tourism Visa Charges

Tourists who wish to visit Morocco can submit their visa applications at the Visa Application Centres (VACs) in Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru and Chennai. Pay around ₹2650 and ₹140 as tourism promotional charges for both visitor and tourist visas to Morocco.
