2. Yamunotri Temple

Nestled at a height of 3293 metre, the ‘Yamunotri Temple’ is visited by uncountable devotees every year from April to October. It is said that this is the source of the Yamuna River. There are two sacred ponds; Suryakund and Gaurikuns where devotees take a dip and bathe in these hot springs to wash away their sins.

3. Badrinarayan Temple

Nestled in Uttarakhand, ‘Badrinarayan Temple’ is standing tall between the twin mountains, Nar and Narayan. This temple is open for the devotees from April end to October as the weather deteriorates for the rest of the year. Tungnath Temple is the highest Shiva temple that we know about. This temple is standing tall at an elevation of 12,073 feet for more than 1000 years in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. This temple is also the highest temple of the 5 Panch Kedar temples. Reaching here takes you to cover a trekking distance of 3.5 km.

5. Neelkanth Mahadev Temple
