Vada Pav, is immensely popular in Mumbai. The dish consists of a deep fried potato dumpling placed inside a bread bun(pav) sliced almost in half through the middle. It is generally served with one or two chutneys and a green chilli pepper. Although it originated as cheap street food in Mumbai. But when it comes to food, Delhi can never be left behind right? After all, Delhi is known for its food experiments. Just like that, Dum Maro Dum Studio in Delhi has introduced a ‘Charcoal Vada Pav’ in its menu.

A gem in Delhi’s Rajouri Garden, Dum Maro Dum Studio is a multi-cuisine spot which is the ultimate homage to the free spirit and wanderers in each one of us. The DMD Studio is known to give desi flavours a modern twist. One of the super quirky experiment is Charcoal Vada Pav and we are already head over heels for them. It’s basically your classic vadas served with brownish pavs where a ‘Charcoal-Activated’ pav is served with golden fried potato vadas along with sweet and sour tamarind chutney and green mint and coriander chutney.
