Mumbai: 2,500+ Train Services By Western Railway Cancelled From Oct 26 To Nov 5; Full List Inside

Mumbaikars, take note of an update in the local train services on the Western Line. For the next few days, several train services will be cancelled. They include suburban trains, mail express and so on. Here’s the full list of the cancelled train services by the Western Railway.

Mumbai Locals On The Western Line Cancelled

For commuters taking the western line of Mumbai Local, train services have taken a hit. Here are the dates and the number of trains that will be cancelled. 

1. Trains Going Towards Virar:

  • Oct 27-28: 128 trains
  • Oct 29: 116 trains
  • Oct 30-Nov 3: 158 trains
  • November 4: 46 trains
  • November 5: 54 trains

2. Trains Going Towards Churchgate:

  • Oct 27-28: 127 trains
  • Oct 29: 114 trains
  • Oct 30-Nov 3: 158 trains
  • November 4: 47 trains
  • November 5: 56 trains

According to the press release, the Western Railway has cancelled more than 2,500 train services. Here is the full list:

  • Train No. 12936 Surat – Bandra Terminus – 27, 31 October & 4 November.
  • Train No. 02133 Bandra Terminus – Jabalpur – 28 October & 4 November
  • Train No. 12935 Bandra Terminus – Surat – 28 October and 01 & 5 November
  • Train No. 09051 Mumbai Central – Bhusaval – 31 October
  • Train No. 19003 Bandra Terminus – Bhusaval – 29th October
  • Train No. 12247 Bandra Terminus – H. Nizamuddin – 3 November
  • Train No. 09037 Bandra Terminus – Barmer – 3 November
  • Train No. 22903 Bandra Terminus – Bhuj on 3 November
  • Train No. 22965 Bandra Terminus – Bhagat Ki Kothi on 3 November
  • Train No. 22923 Bandra Terminus – Jamnagar on 4 November
  • Train No. 12216 Bandra Terminus – Delhi Sarai Rohilla on 5 November
  • Train No. 22913 Bandra Terminus – Saharsa on 5 November
  • Train No. 12907 Bandra Terminus – H. Nizamuddin on 5 November

Reason For The Cancellation:

As per the release, a Mega Block will be built across the Mumbai suburban portion of the Western Railway due to the non-interlocking work being done in connection with the construction of the sixth line, which is between Khar and Goregaon. From October 26 to November 5, 2023, several trains will be cancelled, partially cancelled, short terminated, and postponed.
