The Purna, Mindhola, and Ambika River bridges were built successfully by the National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL).

One of the constructed river crossings in the Navsari area, which spans the Purna River, is 360 metres long. It is made up of nine 40-metre-long full-span girders that are supported by piers that are 10 to 20 metres tall. The bridge will be a crucial link between the HSR stations in Bilimora and Surat.

Six full-span girders, each measuring 40 metres, make up the second river bridge,. It spans the Mindhola River in the Navsari district. It has a 240-metre span. The round piers that support this bridge have a diameter of four metres, and their circumference ranges from 10 to 15 metres.

This bridge for Mumbai-Ahmedabad corridor has piers that range in height from 12.6 to 23.4 metres. It also has round piers with 4, 5, and 5.5-meter diameters.

With these most recent completions, there are now four river bridges that have been built for the MAHSR route in the last six months. 24 river crossings will be included in the corridor overall, 20 of which will be in Gujarat and four in Maharashtra.

Gujarat’s HSR station construction is also well along the road, with eight stations seeing significant progress. (As per Money Control)
