The latest example of this is the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Namo Bharat Rapid Rail (Vande Metro). According to ET Now, after Ahmedabad-Bhuj and Jaynagar-Patna, Indian Railways now plan to launch the Namo Bharat Rapid Rail service on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad route. This train service will improve inter-city travel and enhance connectivity between the two cities.

Coach Composition & Expected Ticker Fare

This mini-Vande Bharat train service between Mumbai and Vadodara is expected to run via Surat. The Mumbai-Vadodara Namo Bharat Rapid Rail will cover a distance of 392 km. The expected time to cover this distance will be less than 5 hours. According to the ET Now report, this Namo Bharat Rapid Rail will have 16 air-conditioned coaches. The expected fare for the journey is likely around ₹350.

Stops On Mumbai-Vadodara Namo Bharat Rapid Rail

The Mumbai-Vadodara Namo Bharat Rapid Rail will make its halt at major railway stations on the route. Here are the expected stoppages –

• Borivali
• Vapi
• Valsad
• Surat
• Bharuch Junction

Expected Time Table Of The Route

The Namo Bharat Rapid Rail on this route is expected to depart from Mumbai Central at around 8 AM. It will reach Vadodara at around 1 PM. On its return journey, the train is expected to depart from Vadodara at 3 PM and arrive in Mumbai at 8 PM.
