The Mumbai international airport bagged the esteemed title in the Asia Pacific region for the year 2022. The Airport Service Quality of Airports Council International has awarded the airport with this prestigious honour.
Mumbai International Airport Won The Title For The 6th Time, IN A ROW!
This is the 6th consecutive time for the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport to win this impressive title. Isn’t that a fascinating achievement? Winning the honour 6 consecutive times is undoubtedly an incredible landmark. The Mumbai international airport clinched the Best Airport by Size and Region in the over 40 million passenger category award for the 6th consecutive time this year.

- It achieved Level 4+ Transition of the ACA program of ACI.
- Mumbai international airport introduced the “FASTag car park” for improved parking facilities.
- The airport also got “Reverse Vending Machines” to focus on promoting the recycling of single-use plastics.
- They introduced the “Integrated Security Check Point”.
- They have also made a transition to be a 100% sustainable green energy consuming airport.
- The airport now has Electric Vehicle (EV) fast charging stations.
- The airport also got 2D Barcode readers installed.
- CSMIA also hosted a 45-day Summer Carnival for passengers.
- The airport also unveiled a new General Aviation terminal facility.
- The airport also facilitated a different travel journey with Air Charter Service India for 27 brave and young cancer patients.
