There has been some news about the unveiling of new swimming pools by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) in different parts of Mumbai. Well, the time has come finally to share the good news of opening three all-new pools in the City of Dreams. Recently, BMC shared the grand news of opening the pools and stated some important information about it.

Mumbaikars, are you ready to swim and sweat it out this summer season? BMC’s 3 brand-new swimming pools are all set to open their doors very soon and the registration process is starting from tomorrow itself. According to a report by Mid-Day, the 3 new swimming pools are at Andheri East, Vikhroli, and Worli. Starting according to First Come First Entry, the online registration for these pools is beginning on March 6 from 6 AM. Click on the website https://swimmingpool.mcgm.gov.in for registrations.
The plans of BMC are to construct and open a total of 6 swimming pools in 6 different places in Mumbai. The locations of these newly constructed pools are Andheri East’s Kondivita, Andheri West’s Indira Gandhi Entertainment Park, Dahisar’s Gyandhara Garden, Malad’s Chacha Nehru Garden, Vikhroli’s Tagore Nagar, and Worli Hill Reservoir.
3 of these new 6 swimming pools are opening up this summer season and the other 3 have already opened for people in the past 2 years. BMC announced the opening of pools for everyone, both kids and adults. From Fees To Timing, Here Are The Details

People need to submit fees to join these pools and swim. School students, disabled ones, and senior citizens are getting a concession this time. Also, there are different time slots for everyone.
- The time slots for men are from 6 AM to 11 AM and then from 6 PM to 10 PM.
- The time slots for a special women’s batch are 11 AM-12 PM and 5 PM-6 PM.
- People in the general category need to pay an annual membership fee of ₹8,836.
- For women, the fee is ₹6,716.
- The fee is ₹4,586 for school students, disabled people, senior citizens, and present and retired employees of BMC.
