Mumbai Ranks TOP 8th In The Least Family Friendly Travel Destinations
Factors like overall safety, family-friendly accommodations, child-friendly restaurants and family activities were reviewed at various popular travel destinations to determine their family-friendly nature. And India’s most known city, Mumbai joined the bandwagon with China’s Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Beijing, Egypt’s Cairo, Japan’s Osaka, Turkey’s Istanbul, Vietnam’s Istanbul, Hong Kong and Thailand’s Bangkok to become the least safe for families wanting to have good vacation time.
According to the report by The Family Vacation Guide, Mumbai consists of ”10% of family-friendly hotels, over 10% of child-friendly restaurants and over 20% of child-friendly activities and attractions.” Despite having multiple UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Mumbai still lists as the least kid-friendly destination.
