This new walkway will be elevated and will provide an escape into surroundings cradled by nature. The walkway will surely provide a rejuvenating walk for nature enthusiasts and peace-seekers alike. Here are all of the other important details that you would need to know about this particular walkway.
Mumbai: First Look Of The New Malabar Hill Walkway Is Here
The very first look of the elevated walkway at Malabar Hill has been unveiled. Micro-blogging sites like X (formerly known as Twitter) are flooded with pictures and videos of the walkway. As of now, it is not open to the public but it will soon be.
Located in the tranquil neighbourhood of Malabar Hills, the walkway stretches across 705 metres. It is inspired by the forest walkways of Singapore and gives pedestrians breathtaking landscape views. In addition to this, the walkway is made of wood that makes it blend in with the natural surroundings.
If reports are to go by, the walkway will also have a corridor that will be made of glass that will elevate the viewing experience for pedestrians.

When Will This Elevated Way Open To The Public?
The bridge will be available for public use in the next month, which will be January 2025. It seems like Mumbaikars will get a new gift for the new year. The walkway is currently finished and only a few minor aesthetic changes are to be made after which, the bridge will open.
It is hoped that once it opens, people of the neighbourhood will have a new space for recreation. The space will particularly be useful to those who love hiking and trekking as the environment will be reminiscent of these outdoor activities.
