Geeta Basra Reveals What Harbhajan Singh Calls Her
In our latest Sunday Brunch episode, we had a lovely time with actress Geeta Basra. Geeta revealed that she met former cricketer Harbhajan Singh through a close friend. Harbhajan first saw her on a poster and was adamant to meet her. During their first meeting, he told Geeta he would marry her some day. Even after 10 years, their chemistry still feels perfect.
Geeta also shared a cute revelation about the nicknames they use for each other: Harbhajan calls her ‘Madam,’ while she calls him ‘Bhaj.’ The actress also stated that she doesn’t know why her husband calls her this name, and said, “He has never called me by my name. He has never said Geeta, from day 1 it was always ‘Madam’.”

Actress Launches Her Production House
Speaking about her professional life, Geeta Basra revealed that she faced struggles after marrying the cricketer. She lost four projects simply because she was getting married, which eventually led to a slow down in her career. Now, after almost eight years, she has carved her own path and launched her production house, Purple Rose Entertainment. She has already launched the first show, ‘Who’s The Boss’ and will soon telecast more episodes.
The actress also spoke about the initial phase of her career, mentioning that when she came to India, she took acting classes. Just after completing her course, she landed her first film, ‘Dil Diya Hai.’ Unlike many others, she didn’t have to wait five to six years for her first break. Now, after years in the Hindi film industry, Geeta Basra is once again ready to be in the headlines for her amazing work, and we can’t wait for it.
