This time, our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, visited the home of famous dancer Remo D’Souza and his wife, “SABR.” In the interview, the trio bonded over delicious food. They also spoke about the couple’s different personalities, lifestyles, and more. Read on to know more!

Inside Remo D’Souza and Lizelle’s Talk with Kamiya Jani

In a Sunday Brunch episode, Kamiya Jani indulged in a candid conversation with Remo D’Souza and Lizelle. During the chat, the couple revealed the names of their eight dogs and three cats. Interestingly, all of them have their own personal rooms.

What makes their home special is their blend of beliefs. Lizelle is a born Catholic, while Remo was Hindu, so their house has both a Mother Mary idol and Ganpati Bappa.

Many might be curious about Remo D’Souza’s background. His real name was Ramesh Gopi Nair. Before moving to Mumbai, he lived in Jamnagar, where he worked in a church and performed in several shows. He was around 15 when he converted.

Talking about their love story, Lizelle shared that she was passionate about fashion shows, and there was a phase when she worked as a model. During that time, she first met Remo. They didn’t fall in love at first sight, but slowly started developing feelings for each other. The couple got married three times; first in Hindu tradition, then in Catholic tradition, and finally again on their 20th anniversary.

What Was On The Menu?

The food menu for Sunday Brunch was decided by Lizelle. They enjoyed Mutton Chaap, Khatte Aloo, Khatte Baingan, Mutton, and Dal. Remo revealed that Khatte Aloo and Khatte Baingan are Lizelle’s favourites, and due to Kamiya, he was able to eat mutton as he doesn’t eat it often. Lizelle also shared that she craves pani puri and recommends that High Point serves good pani puri, along with the stall in her lane.

The couple also gave a tour of their beautiful home, where they showed a lovely temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. What makes it extra special is that the temple also has the world’s smallest Shivling.
