On Wednesday, IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation) announced the launch of the Navratri-special Bharat Gaurav train. The Navratri Special train is scheduled to start its maiden voyage from Delhi to Katra (Vaishno Devi) on 30th September. Through the Dekho Apna Desh initiative, the Bharat Gaurav tourist train is the centre’s attempt to promote domestic tourism in the country.
The Bharat Gaurav Train
The train boasts of some of the best amenities and services in its class, including interiors that are designed to ensure maximum passenger comfort. The trains will have dining cars, infotainment systems, CCTV cameras, and all security services. Indian Railways has launched Bharat Gaurav trains with ICF rakes under the “Right to Use” model. These will operatie on different routes to registered service providers.
IRCTC Vaishno Devi Package
If you want to visit the Vaishno Devi Temple during Navratri 2022 then IRCTC has some good news for you. IRCTC has announced a four-night, five-day package, which includes a two-night stay at Katra. he all-inclusive costs starting at ₹ 11,990 per person (for two pax). Tours begin on September 30, 2022.
Bharat Gaurav train departs from Delhi and arrives at Katra Railway Station. The Bharat Gaurav train will halt at Delhi, Sirhind, Ghaziabad, Saharanpur, Ludhiana Muzaffarnagar, Ambala, and Meerut.
