Neeru Bajwa and Diljit Dosanjh were in Mumbai for the promotions of their latest film, Jatt & Juliet 3. Our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, crashed Diljit’s hotel room for this episode of Sunday Brunch. We were pleased to discover that we caught up with the Canadian actress in the City of Dreams after almost a decade! We had to make the most of it and feed her yummy food.
Neeru Bajwa Came To Mumbai After Almost A Decade
Neeru stays with her family in Vancouver, Canada; but most of her professional work is based in India. She has to juggle her professional and private life between India and Canada. She is now an expert at it and credits Air India for smooth travels between those countries!
The Jatt & Juliet star informed us that this was her first visit to Mumbai after 10 or 12 years. Then, she recalled how her first time ever in Mumbai was nearly disastrous and not-so-memorable. Neeru shared that it was largely due to wrong timings and things that were not in her favour.
However, she never despised the city for those unpleasant experiences. Instead, she had an optimistic outlook. Now, she considers Mumbai as a city where she interacts with like-minded people, avails job opportunities, promotes her films and more. Ultimately, she comes here for work purposes, enjoys the city and its food to then leaves for her home.

Why Does Kamiya Consider The Canadian Actress To Be Her Family?
Kamiya disclosed to our guests that she is married to a Punjabi family. She highlighted that in Punjabi households, both the Jatt & Juliet co-stars are considered superstars. So much so, that Punjabis consider them a part of their family and our guests nodded in agreement!
Kamiya called Neeru a “Legend” as she delivered back-to-back Punjabi hits on the big screens. Neeru couldn’t help but smile. She told us that it was her childhood dream to be an actress. She fulfilled it and is still standing tall in the industry. So maybe that is the reason why her films are a hit at the box office!
