Say goodbye to the hassles of immigration checks upon arrival in Jeddah or Madinah, as Karachi Airport takes the lead in easing the journey for pilgrims.

Under the Road to Makkah initiative, pilgrims bound for Saudi Arabia will breeze through immigration checks right here at Karachi Airport before their departure. Thanks to dedicated Saudi Aviation staff and two specially designated immigration counters, the process promises to be swift and seamless, ensuring a hassle-free start to their spiritual journey.

According to Gulzar Soomro, the Hajj director in Karachi, the inaugural Hajj flight under the Road to Makkah project is scheduled for May 9. This groundbreaking initiative is set to benefit a substantial number of pilgrims, with 16,281 departing from Karachi and an additional 1,000 from Sukkur under the government scheme. Moreover, 2,200 pilgrims from Quetta will also join the journey from Karachi, further amplifying the impact of this transformative project.
