Noida Labour Union Protest Triggers Traffic Chaos; Travel Advisory And Helpline Number Issued

In Noida and nearby areas, there is a sense of panic among commuters as labour union protest turned violent on Monday morning, affecting thousands of daily travellers across the region. To ensure smoother traffic flow, authorities have issued an advisory asking people to avoid certain routes. Scroll down for more details.

Traffic Routes Affected Due To Protest In Noida

The labour union protest caused major trouble on the roads in Noida. Crowds gathered on the streets, and traffic quickly went out of control. Long lines of vehicles built up in many directions, making travel slow and frustrating. As per News18, commuters heading towards Delhi and moving within Noida were hit the hardest. The Delhi–Noida border saw a heavy slowdown, and many people got stuck for hours during the busy morning rush.

Officials confirmed that the impact spread to major roads, including National Highway 9. Traffic moved very slowly in several areas, and at some points, it almost came to a complete halt.

The situation became more tense in Sector 84, where some protesters reportedly set two vehicles on fire. This created panic in nearby areas and made things worse on the ground. The protest also spread to Sector 62, where traffic got badly jammed. Many connecting roads were either blocked or moving very slowly because of the crowd movement.

Police teams were sent to important industrial and sensitive areas to control the situation. Senior police and district officials were also present and closely monitoring everything.
