Noida To Expand By 20,000 Hectares Of Land Up To Bulandshahr
The Uttar Pradesh government is planning to expand Noida by around 20,000 hectares of land, up to Bulandshahr. If everything goes according to the plan, the UP government will finalise the development model for this new land in the coming four to six months. According to a Hindustan Times report, Ritu Maheshwari, chief executive officer, Noida authority, has said, “Since the industrial development is almost saturated in Noida with hardly any land left to be allotted for industrial use, the Noida authority can carry out the development on this land once the UP government finishes required formalities on this.” Meanwhile, a replica of Dubai’s iconic Burj Al Arab will soon come up in Noida.

The New Area Will Create More Employment Opportunities
The UP State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) had earmarked this stretch of land between Greater Noida and Bulandshahr for development around 10 years ago. But as per authorities, during that time, the land was already under other industrial zones. Now, with the expansion, the authorities aim to create employment opportunities and fuel the local economy. President of National Real Estate Development Council in UP, RK Arora, has said, “If the Noida authority develops land for the industrial use, it will create jobs and fuel the local economy. It will positively impact the real estate sector.” The state government will decide the specific areas of land for industrial, commercial, residential and mixed-land use purposes.
