May-Elin Stener, the Ambassador of Norway to India is currently visiting the country. She recently visited the legendary Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. She also shared a picture as well as a video of the enchanting ambience of the temple. Prior to this, she also visited other parts of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), May-Elin Stener shared a picture of herself in the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram Mandir. In the background, the famous idol of Ram Lalla can be seen. Priests are also seen around the Ram Lalla idol carrying out a ritual.
The picture and the video were shared along with the caption “At the Ram Temple Ayodhya today.” Her visit to this famous temple took place on Thursday, May 16. The picture and the video were shared around 6:30 PM yesterday.
Since they were first posted, they have managed to garner more than 150 thousand views which only keeps increasing. Many people were quite happy that the ambassador was paying her respects at this revered and beloved temple.

Earlier, she also shared a slew of pictures of her travelling around Uttar Pradesh. Based on her caption, the trip wasn’t for travel or leisure, but for work. She said that she attended a number of rallies and met a lot of politicians.
She also said that it was incredible to see how involved people are in the election process. Since the Lok Sabha Elections are going on, she got to witness a lot of what actually goes behind it in a country like India.
In the past, she has stated how important the relationship between Norway and India is and that both countries are interested in strengthening their ties with each other.
