Himachal Pradesh is witnessing a massive tourist footfall at this time of the year. With the year ending in less than a week and travel enthusiasts all set to spend the last week of the year in full glory and grandeur, many travellers are now enjoying a beautiful holiday with loved ones in this hilly state. New Year celebrations call for some booze and a party. The state government is taking measures for all the visitors to have a good time.

Himachal Pradesh CM Announced A New Step For Tourists During This Festive Season

Taking to the X (formerly Twitter) platform, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu (@SukhuSukhvinder) shared pictures of tourists visiting the state.

Thousands of tourists have visited the state in the last few days to enjoy this peak holiday season. The Himachal Pradesh government is taking all the steps to be accommodating and hospitable to tourists and provide them with great travel experiences. Recently, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu announced a new step taken for the tourists. On Monday, the Chief Minister stated that drunk tourists will be dropped off at their hotels by police. They will not be going to jail or getting imprisoned for being drunk and found by police. Also, he requested visitors to follow the rules and regulations while exploring the state.

Himachal Pradesh is welcoming a huge number of travellers from differnt places. The Chief Minister also stated that the state welcomed about 30,000 tourist vehicles on Monday. The state government is planning efficiently and putting all the efforts into providing the guests with a wonderful time.

Promoting and boosting tourism is a significant step for the state government. Most of us are aware of how Himachal Pradesh attracts visitors all around the year to witness its natural aura but unfortunately, it came across major losses during the floods in June. This holiday season looks like the best time to boost the tourist sector.

Many Restaurants Are Open 24 Hours

Taking to the X (formerly Twitter) platform, The Accidental Investor🔆 (@TheAccidentalI1) shared glimpses of visitors heading to the state.

If you are in this serene state to enjoy the holiday season and experience the fun-filled festivals, you do not need to worry about searching for restaurants that are functioning even at midnight. Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu informed that many dhabas, food joints, and restaurants are open 24 hours from December 20, 2023, to January 5, 2024, according to a report by LiveMint.
