After offering services to book flights and hotels, Flipkart has further widened its travel portfolio and has now introduced online bus booking services. For this new service, they have partnered with many state transport corporations and private aggregators. Furthermore, they will offer an extensive service of 10 lakh bus connections on the Flipkart app to ease the booking process. Read on to learn more about this new bus booking service on Flipkart.

Flipkart has launched a bus booking service on its app. Offering options to choose from 10 lakh bus connections on more than 25,000 routes across India, this is a new travel-related service offered by the e-commerce giant. With this new launch, Flipkart will mark its presence in tier II and tier III cities by catering to the inter-city bus travel demand.

Talking about this new service, Flipkart’s Senior Vice President, Ajay Veer Yadav said, “The addition of buses to Flipkart’s wide array of services marks a significant milestone in our journey towards becoming the ultimate destination for all consumer needs, including travel. With Flipkart’s strong presence in tier II and tier III markets, this move has enabled us to provide customers with a convenient and reliable solution for their inter-city travel needs. As a commitment to our customers, we will continue to serve them with value-added facilities, simplifying their travel experiences in the future.”

Key Features Of The Newly-Launched Service

Back in 2019, Flipkart first introduced online booking for flights and hotels. Now, the new bus booking service will further intensify the platform’s travel portfolio. According to Flipkart, customers will have access to deals and will not have to bear any convenience fees or hidden charges while booking bus services through their app. Furthermore, you can also avail offers through SuperCoins redemption of up to ₹50. They have also set up a 24×7 voice helpline for customer convenience.

Wait, there is more. As part of a launch offer, Flipkart has also offered a flat 15% off and a 5% additional discount on SuperCoins, for every bus booking made till April 15, 2024.
