The UAE is known to celebrate New Year’s Eve on a grand scale. No festival in the country is complete without a firework show and new years is no different. If you are already looking forward to enjoying some pompous firework shows in the UAE, then here’s where you can enjoy them.

Fireworks in Dubai

1. Burj Khalifa

The world’s tallest building is always known to celebrate New Year’s Eve with a stellar fireworks show. And this year is going to be no different. With Grand masterpiece of fireworks and lights and laser show, Burj Khalifa is ready to stun you. The fireworks and laser and light show will be in sync to The Dubai Fountain show for an impressive display. 2. Burj Al Arab

The luxury hotel has confirmed that like every year, it will have a fireworks display this year as well. You can catch a picture-perfect view of the fireworks from either Souk Madinat Jumeirah or Kite Beach.

3. Global Village

Global Village is going all out for fireworks this year. It is all set to light up the skies for seven times, and each firework will be dedicated to countries around the world. Guests at the multicultural venue will be treated to hourly fireworks, starting at 8 pm, as the clock hits 12 in other parts of the world.

4. Dubai Frame

The World’s Largest Frame will have fireworks again this year for New Year’s Eve. It will have a six-minute-long firework display to ring in the New Year.

Fireworks in Abu Dhabi

When it comes to fireworks in Abu Dhabi, you can enjoy the show from three places – Anantara Eastern Mangroves, Shangri-La Hotel and Traders Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, and Yas Island. 

5. Anantara Eastern Mangroves:

Anantara Eastern Mangroves will have a sparkling NYE bash, with fireworks displayed over the mangroves and Abu Dhabi skyline when the clock hits midnight.

6. Shangri-La Hotel and Traders Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri:

Shangri-La Hotel and Traders Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri will be having its fireworks over the Grand Canal. If you want to enjoy the fireworks up close and personal, then you can book any of the packaged offered by the hotel and get a guaranteed front-row seat for the show. 

7. Yas Island:

Yas Island will have its own set of colourful fireworks this year. However, if you are keen to watch it, you either have to watch it as a live stream or by dining at one of Yas Marina’s restaurants. Several venues, including Aquarium, Mr Miyagi’s, Casa de Cuba and Cipriani are now offering New Year’s Eve packages for diners.

Fireworks in Ras Al Khaimah

Ras Al Khaimah is also set to astound us with fireworks in various shapes and themes rising above the sea near Al Marjan Island. Displaying throughout 4km, the showcase will be in tune with musical arrangements for a total of 10 minutes to welcome the New Year. However, one cannot watch this magnificent show in person.
