The clock is ticking, and in just 20 days, we will bid adieu to one of the most bothersome year- 2020. And while we look forward to ending 2020, we are equally looking forward to celebrating the year of 2021 in style. With brunches, shopping parties, fireworks and more, we all have already made our new year plans. And to add a cherry on the cake, Ras Al Khaimah is all set to captivate us with a massive fireworks show. Here’s how.

Ras Al Khaimah Fireworks Will Stretch Over 4Km This Year

The organising committee for Ras Al Khaimah New Year’s Eve Celebrations has announced that one the world’s largest fireworks performances will take place in the emirate this year. Yes, the fireworks will stretch over 4km of the sea near Al Marjan Island, all timed to music for a ten-minute performance. What’s more? Well, also for the first time the celebrations will be held without public viewing areas and activities. However, hotel guests in Al Hamra Village and Al Marjan island will be able to watch the display, while following all safety guidelines.

Public Viewing Is Banned For This Year, You Can Watch The Fireworks Online And On Television

Don’t worry you, don’t have to feel left out since you can watch the stellar display at home with a live broadcast on television and online at www.raknye.com. For the same, Sheikh Mohammed bin Salem Al Qasimi road leading to Al Marjan Island will be closed from 2 PM, and access will only be allowed for residents and guests of hotels.

If you think that Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) is doing something so grand for the first time, then let us tell you that last year RAK had made history with their New Year’s Eve Gala. It secured the Guinness World Records for the Most Unmanned Aerial Vehicles for Launching Fireworks Simultaneously and the Longest Fireworks Waterfall. Ain’t that super cool? We are so looking forward to the fireworks this year, what about you?
