India’s indigenously designed train, the Vande Bharat Express, is being introduced in different parts of the country this year. After missing the deadline last year, PM Narendra Modi is making sure that this year’s delivery of the trains is not delayed. With this thought, Odisha too will be welcoming its first Vande Bharat Express in May. will be connecting three major cities.

Odisha To Welcome Vande Bharat Express Soon

The Indian Railways will soon conduct the first trial of Odisha’s first Vande Bharat Express. The semi-high speed train is expected to hit the tracks in Odisha in the first half of May.

The Odisha Vande Bharat Express will connect three major cities: Puri, Bhubaneswar, and Howrah. After successful trials, the train will run between Puri and Howrah via Bhubaneswar. This train will have fewer stoppages, as Howrah-Puri is actually a very busy route.
