Remember the days when your parent would drop you off at school with a pack of biscuits as snacks? If you grew up in India, more often than not, the biscuit would be Parle G or  Bourbon. If you were a really fancy kid, you’d get Jimjam or Oreo. Someone recently shared what they thought was an unpopular opinion and stated that Bourbon was better than Oreo. Thus began the flurry of debate over which biscuit reigns supreme!

Ah, the Internet! It is a landscape fertile for polarising issues such as the superiority of our favourite childhood biscuits! Someone recently shared one such polarising opinion on X (formerly known as Twitter) that opened up a huge debate about which biscuit is the best.

The user said that Bourbon biscuits were better than Oreo. It seems that Oreo biscuits have a chokehold on our culture that is foreign in origin. The West loves Oreo, it is obvious from their popular culture, but this obsession is now also taking over India.

But it is important to remember that India has no dearth of biscuits that are infinitely better than Oreo. As a matter of fact, in the tier-ranking of biscuits, Jimjam seems to always have been in the highest. Sorry, but we don’t make the rules!

Which Biscuits Have Your Vote For Being The Absolute Best?

Many Netizens flocked to the post and shared their favourite biscuit. Some said that Jimjam was the unequivocal best biscuit and honestly, we’re inclined to agree! Some even mentioned that the good ol’ Happy Happy was better than Bourbon.

One user also mentioned Little Hearts as the best biscuits and truly, these biscuits belong in the God Tier along with Jimjams. And of course, it is impossible to not talk about Parle G when the biscuits are mentioned. They are absolutely iconic!
