And with the recent announcement of the plans to increase beaches by a whopping 400% under the Dubai Beach Masterplan, there is now a new futuristic plan for Jebel Ali. Dear readers, we are talking about the revival of the Palm Jebel Ali megaproject, which is as futuristic as it gets. Here is all you need to know about the approved project.

Palm Jebel Ali Project Revived

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai has approved the futuristic master plan of Palm Jebel Ali. Yes, this project is being revived and the real estate master developer, Nakheel will be undertaking this message project. It’s worth mentioning that this master plan is a part of the Dubai 2040 Urban Masterplan. Talking about the project, it will be spread across a massive area of 13.4 square kilometres. This means it will be twice the size of Palm Jumeirah! According to a report by Dubai Media Office, Palm Jebel Ali will have extensive green spaces. And of course waterfront experiences. Not to mention, with this, 110 kilometres of coastline will get added to Dubai, which will offer luxurious beachside living to nearly 35,000 families!

More About The Project

Talking about this project, Palm Jebel Ali will also feature more than 80 hotels and resorts. As it happens, there will be a wide range of entertainment and leisure facilities that will in turn, contribute to the tourism sector in Dubai. The report also mentioned his highness Sheikh Mohammed stating that Palm Jebel Ali will strengthen the urban infrastructure and consolidate Dubai’s emergence as one of the world‘s leading metropolises. Moreover, since it is in line with the Dubai 2040 Urban Masterplan, Palm Jebel Ali will not only increase beach destinations but also support the Emirates’ vision for delivering the highest standards of urban infrastructure and facilities. In fact, it has also been designed keeping sustainability in mind!
